Join us for a month-long community celebration in the Greater Lansing area this September as we honor the United Nations International Day of Peace.
PeaceQuest is a community-wide event series designed to bring us all together—friends, families, and neighbors—to engage in fun and meaningful activities that promote peace and foster a deeper understanding of diverse faiths and cultures.
Highlights of PeaceQuest 2024:
Peace Pole Pursuit (Sept 1-30): Explore the Greater Lansing area by locating and photographing peace poles. Participate by walking, driving, or biking, and share your journey with us!
Peace Vigil (Sept 6, 13, 20, 27): Join us every Friday at the Michigan State Capitol to promote peace and reflect on its importance in our lives.
Sing Out for Peace! (Sept 7): Enjoy a lively sing-along and concert featuring songs of peace in Old Town.
